It is with great sadness to report that David Burgon passed away on Sunday 26th Jan, aged 77 at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth. David was Cdre Sam Shattock’s father-in-law.
The details for the funeral are; held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 11th, at Room 2, Plymouth Crematorium at The Park, 205 Merafield Road, Plympton, Plymouth, PL7 1UQ. All who knew him and wish to pay their respects are warmly invited to join the family in saying farewell. There’s no dress code—please wear whatever you feel comfortable in. David will be in his jeans, just as he would have wanted.

It is with much sadness that I report that Tony Kemp former DST(SF) (Member 0562) Crossed the Bar on Thursday 3rd February 2022 at his care home in Wimbourne aged 90.
It is with much sadness that I report that First Officer (S) Paul Monnelly (Member 0737) Crossed the Bar on Friday 21 January 2022 at his home in Estepona aged 75 after a battle with cancer.
It is with much sadness that I report that First Officer(SE) John Michael Evans RFA(Retd) (not a member but part of our RFA family) crossed the bar on Wednesday 15th December 2021 aged 69.
You know what I am talking about. I am quite sure that if the boys and girls of the RFA were told where they were going wrong they would sort it out.
