Sitrep1, Confirmed Funeral Arrangements
It is with so much sadness I report that Captain John Barrie (Barrie) Dickinson CBE, RFA(Retd), member 0043, Crossed the Bar on Thursday 22 August 2019 aged 82.
Barrie’s Funeral has now been confirmed as taking place on Thursday 12th September 2019 at 12:30 at St Laurence’s Church, Upwey (HERE for their Website and HERE for a map). There will be a private cremation later. Old shipmates and colleagues will be very welcome to attend and also to join the family for refreshments afterwards.
Family flowers only but donations in lieu should be made to the RNLI Weymouth (HERE for their website and HERE for a map) and the Alzheimers Society (HERE for their website and HERE for a map)
