RFAA PRIVACY STATEMENT
As a member-based organisation the RFA Association needs to be able to contact its members on a range of business including membership issues, annual reunion, annual and extraordinary general meetings and social functions at both national and branch levels. We like to keep you informed of developments in the RFA and the Association, upcoming news, events and notifying you of those comrades who have ‘crossed the bar’. We do this using all modern communication media including Facebook, internet web site, e mail, telephone, post and text messages.
For us to do this we must have your contact details and so we hold your names, addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail address and some bank account details to enable us to process your membership fees and donations. At any time you can ask us to provide details of any data we hold on you and you can amend or remove any details if you so wish.
Our Promise to you – Data Protection Policy
Your personal information is protected and processed securely and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations 2018. We will use your data to process your donations and to keep you updated on Association business. We will never sell, swap or pass your data onto any other organisation. Your data will be protected from compromise by use of strong and current computer security software and high security standards when handling and using it. Data will only be released to a government organisation in the highly unlikely circumstance that it is demanded by law.
