Lots of memories of a great character and shipmate.
Watching football together in Malta ( match abandoned due to both teams fighting) or in thick snow in Bath, where Hull City lost to Bristol. Tom last seen when he dropped by on his way to the States a few years back complete with “Steer-Head” Belt. Rest easy Tom.
Sincere condolences to Helen and family.

Eric Fisher writes-

Tom was a great shipmate and a proud fellow Scot. He was a fanatic supporter of Auchenleck Talbot a Scots Junior team and Helen and Tom followed them everywhere.

I exchanged e-mails right up to his death and my condolences to his wonderful wife Helen.
