Sitrep 1, Correction to Rank
It is with so much sadness that I report that Petty Officer(Deck) John Beer RFA (Retd) Crossed the Bar on Thursday 11th Feb 2021 aged 73. John was not a member of our Association but was, of course, a member of our RFA family.
John’s funeral and cremation will take place at Exeter Crematorium (HERE for the website and HERE for a map) on Friday 19th February at 10:00. Covid attendance restrictions will apply. The arrangements are being made by Silliphants Funeral Directors (HERE for the website and HERE for a map)
Family flowers only please but donations in lieu if desired, and in John’s name should be made to Marie Curie (HERE for their website)
