Crossed the Bar

It is with so much sadness that I report that Captain James (Jim) Pratt  RFA (Retd), Not a member but part of our RFA family, Crossed the Bar on Tuesday 28th September 2021 aged 93. Many thanks to Ian Ralph for the heads up.

His funeral service will take place at Burntisland Parish Church, (HERE for their website and HERE for a map) on Monday 11th October at 12:45 followed by interment at Burntisland Cemetary (HERE for their website and HERE for a map) with the arrangements being made by Johnston Funeral Directors (HERE for their website and HERE for a map)

Old colleagues and shipmates are welcome to attend and will be invited to join the family for refreshments afterwards,

Family flowers only but donations in lieu and if desired should be made, in Jim’s name to the RNLI Kinghorn Lifeboart station (HERE For their website).

 

On behalf of the RFA Association I offer sincere condolences to his daughter Lyn, Grandchildren Nicola and Mark, and Great Grandson Maximus. His wife Janet predeceased him in 1997
