Crossed the Bar

It is with so much sadness I report that Alice Sprague, member 281, a stalwart member of the Plymouth Branch  crossed the bar on Wednesday November 4th aged 76 after a short illness.

Alice’s funeral will take place at Trinity United Reformed Church, Torr Lane, Hartley, Plymouth (HERE for their website and HERE for a map) at 14:00 on Wednesday 18th November followed by a private cremation. Old friends, shipmates and colleagues will be welcomed by the family. There will be refreshments afterwards and invitations to the event will be extended to those attending by the family. At Alice’s request, attendees should wear bright colours and poppies (poppies will be available at the service).

Family flowers only at the family’s request but donations in Alice’s name, if desired should be made to The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal (HERE for their website) , or the RNLI (HERE for their website and HERE for a map)

The arrangements for the funeral are being made by Walter C Parsons, Plympton (HERE for their website and HERE for a map)
