It is with much sadness that I report that First Officer(SE) John Michael Evans RFA(Retd) (not a member but part of our RFA family) crossed the bar on Wednesday 15th December 2021 aged 69 . As further details become available I will post them to this page. The funeral arrangements are being made by Livesey Funeral Services. Horwich (HERE for their website and HERE for a map) and will expected to be held at Overdale Crematorium (HERE for their website and HERE for a map) at 11:00 on Thursday 20th January 2022.
Old shipmates and colleagues will be most welcome to attend (subject to to any Covid restrictions extant at the time) and will be invited to join the family for refreshments afterwards.
Family flowers only but donations in lieu and in John’s name should be made to the RFA Association the RFA Association via the Funeral Directors or our Paypal account (Sales@rfaa.uk)
