It is with so much sadness that I report, that Captain David Edward William Lench OBE RFA(Retd) has crossed the bar aged 86 on Monday 22 October 2020.
His private (family only) funeral (because of Covid restrictions) followed by interment will be held at All Saints Church in the village of All Saints HERE for their website and HERE for a map on the 3rd November 2020 at 11:30. It is hoped to hold a Memorial Service for David in due course and probably not until the new year (2021)
Family flowers only by request
The arrangements are being made by J F Clarke and Son, Axminster HERE for their webside and HERE for a map.
David was not a member of our Association but was, of course, a part of the extended RFA Family.
I have no more information at the moment but will, of course, sitrep this page with any updates.
On behalf of the RFA Association I offer our sincere condolences to his widow, Margaret, their two daughters, Sue and Gill and 6 grandchildren, 2 Step grandchildren and all the family
