It is with so much sadness I report that Fireman Thomas Musgrove crossed the bar on 1st December 2015 aged 67. This was reported to me by Edinburgh Social Services.
Sadly Thomas has no known relatives or friends and his funeral, on Tuesday 15th December at the Pentland Chapel of the St. Morton Hall Crematorium (HERE for their website and HERE for a map) at 13:30, is likely to be very poorly attended, possibly just Social Services and the pall bearers.
The funeral has been arranged by Edinburgh Social Services and H+W Harkess Funeral Directors (HERE for their website and HERE for a map). I am also attempting to arrange a committal of his ashes at sea as he requested.
I have contacted a couple of local newspapers but thus far they have not returned my call.
Do you remember Thomas. Lets just hope that he will not be yet another veteran who will go alone to his grave.
