It is with great sadness I must report that there has been a death in service over the weekend. Details are as follows –
Motorman JOHN WOODS BOYD, RFA
Aged 57, last served on RFA Mounts Bay (2021).
Belfast, County Antrim, Northern Ireland,
He passed away 25 June 2023. John had suffered from a long term illness, hence his last date a sea was 2021.
No further details of the funeral as yet apart from it is this Friday, in Northern Ireland.
Although he wasn’t a member, we try and honour all the RFA family. Our sincerest condolences to his family.
