It’s time to lubricate your letter box, dustoff your doormat and peer for the postman. Yup, you guessed it folks , it’s nearly Yearbook, AGM and Reunion time again.
Even as I write vast teams of envelope stuffers and stamp lickers (well Ray and Peter actually) are franticly folding, stuffing, licking whilst swigging copious amounts of tea (yeah right, well thats what they told me it was), (and I suspect uttering the odd naughty word as they see the enormity of the task ahead of them and their tongues slowly turn into something resembling loft insulation) as they get this year’s mailing out to all the members.
You can download specimen (not valid for voting or bookings see below for more details) copies of the AGM and Reunion documentation here Reunion 2017 Docs (905.55 kB) . The Annual Accounts for 2016 will be available on our website and the Charities Commission (England and Wales) and the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) when the audit is complete. Also included in this mailing will be the 2017~18 Members Handbook and Yearbook.
Please do note, the AGM will be held at 15:00 on Thursday 11 May 2017 at the Victory Services Club (VSC), Seymour Street London. Attendance is very important but if you can’t make it please, please exercise your vote using the ballot paper to be found in the mailing.
This year’s Annual Reunion will also be held at the VSC 18:00 for 20:00 on Thursday 11 May 2017 and this year, our Patron, The Earl of Wessex, will be with us. As with the AGM keep a weather eye on the RFAA website for any changes, news or developments.
Nota Bene, the downloadable specimen documents are overprinted “Specimen”. They cannot be used and will not be accepted as valid voting or booking documents. If your copies of the said documents do not appear in the post next week or so let me know at captain.pat@rfa.association.org.uk and I will email them out to you. I will need your membership number to validate your eligibility to vote.
