RIVER YEALM BOAT TRIP
As 2013 is our 10th Anniversary year, I thought we would try something a little different. I have booked for us to go on a boat trip up the River Yealm. Many of you will know the Tamar and the docks but not so many may have been up the Yealm. There are only a couple of sailings in July so this event is on MONDAY 22nd! The boat is the Spirit of Plymouth and she leaves from the Barbican at 1130, returning around 1330. I am assured that wheelchair access to the boat is no problem. I have also arranged for a packed lunch for each of you, supplied by a lovely little sandwich deli here in Ashburton. You will see the myriad of choices on the legend over the page. Just tick the selections you want. Drinks, alcoholic and non, are available onboard.
I will not be running a raffle as it could prove tricky handing out tickets in the open air and with members of the public also onboard!
The details you need are:
VENUE: Barbican landing stage. Parking in any of the car parks around e.g. the multi storey by the Aquarium.
DATE: Monday 22 July 2013. Please be at the landing stage by 1115 latest.
COST: £16.00 per person. Monies and choices to be remitted to Social Sec, Jan Reid by Friday 12 July 2013. No bookings or refunds can be made after that date as we have to pay the boat in advance.
