Details of this year’s AGM and Annual Reunion.
This year’s AGM and Annual Reunion Dinner will be held in Saturday 17 May at the Ramside Hall Hotel in Durham, have a look HERE for their website and HERE for a map and HERE for a taxi service, just spoke to them and they suggest £6 for 2 people travelling from Durham Station to the Hotel.
The AGM will be held at 15:00 and we really need as many members as possible to attend.

All members will receive an approved voting form in the post soon with all the appropriate AGM and Reunion Documents. The provisional minutes of the 2013 AGM held in Liverpool on 24th May 2013 can be downloaded here Provisional Minutes AGM 2013 Members who do not receive a voting form by mid March should contact me at deputy.chairman@rfaa.uk with their membership number and I will post/email one out to them.
The accounts for the year ended December 31st 2013 are with the Independent Auditor and a provisonal copy will be posted here when the audit is completed.
I expect to take delivery of the Members Handbook/Yearbook tomorrow, Monday 10 Feb 2014 a copy of this will be included in this mailing.
REUNION DINNER
Hosted this year by the Scottish and Newcastle Branch of the RFAA
The RFA Reunion will be held on Saturday 17 May at the Ramside Hall Hotel and Golf Club Carrville, Durham DH1 1TD. It is 2 miles from Durham’s historical centre and Cathedral, and 400 metres from junction 62 of the A1M motorway. A park and ride to Durham centre is located a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
The hotel is ideally placed for those who may wish to visit attractions such as Beamish Museum and a visit to the tourism website may help you explore more of the area. http://www.thisisdurham.com/

The hotel is charging £125 per double room on Saturday evening Bed & Breakfast based on 2 guests sharing / £95.00 B&B for 1 guest in room,
On the Friday or Sunday evening it will be £95.00 per room B&B based on 2 guests sharing / £75.00 B&B 1 guest in room.
For any guests staying 2 nights they would receive a 2-night offer of £200.00 per room B&B based on 2 sharing. Or £160.00 B&B based on 1 person.
Please do book by 31 March so that the hotel can release those rooms not taken up.
The dinner will cost £45 per head to include half a bottle of wine per person, service and gratuities. There is a choice for the menu, which we ask you to return with the booking form.
The evening will start at 1900hrs, however there will be a bar open in the Bishop’s Suite exclusively for us from 18:00hrs. Dinner will be served at 2000hrs, and we shall be welcoming Commodore Rob Dorey as our guest speaker. Dress code lounge suits.
The RFA REUNION is in aid of the RFA Association, and there will therefore be a raffle as in previous years. If you feel able to help sourcing prizes from companies or through individual generosity, please do contact Gill Forth gill.forth@virgin.net
