It is with so much sadness that I report that SRO Frederick (Fred) William Barnes RFA(Retd) Crossed the Bar on 14 Dec 17 aged 80.
Fred’s funeral will take place at The Garden of England Crematorium, Sittingbourne (HERE for their Website and HERE for a Map) on Friday 12th January 2018.
Old shipmates and colleagues will be most welcome at the funeral and to join the family for refreshments afterwards.
The arrangements for the funeral are being made by John Weir Funeral Directors, Rainham, (HERE for their Website and HERE for a Map)

On behalf of the RFA Association I offer our sincere condolences to his son Ian and all the family, his wife Mary pre-deceased him 3 years ago.
