RFA Blue Rover on Royal Duties in 1972
The picture shows the ship’s company of RFA Blue Rover on Royal duties in 1972 and came from the collection of the late Captain Bill Walker. The picture was made available to us by Captain Bill’s son Adrian.
Can you name any of the ship’s company. I can manage Captain Gil Overbury (centre) and Bill Walker, then Choff to the right. Also front row second from left is (then) Cadet Ian Pilling. Have a good look and see if you can add a few more then email me at deputy.chairman@rfaa.uk
