The RFA National Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum was dedicated today 11.10.21 in the presence of HRH The Earl Of Wessex KG GCVO, commodore in chief of the RFA and Patron of the RFA Association. Despite the ever threatening rain clouds and the odd shower of mild drizzle the weather behaved itself for the ceremony of dedication. The RFA National Standard, the RFA Association National Standard and the Branch Standards of the RFA Association were present. The Band of the Royal Marines provided a spendid accompanyment to the event and played the RFA March prior to marching off to, A Life on the Ocean Wave.
