RODERICK (ROD) TIDBALL, CROSSED THE BAR SITREP 3 (365)

Crossed the Bar

It is with so much sadness that I  announce that Roderick (Rod aka “Tiddles Fiddles”) Tidball, member 0659 (Plymouth) and from the Stonnery branch  Crossed the Bar on Friday 19th July. He was 63 years old.  Rod served in the STO(N) department of RFAs Regent, Fort Austin and Fort Grange. Rod had also served in the REME and RCT.

Rod’s funeral will be held at South Brent Methodist Chapel  (See HEREfor the website and HERE for a map)on Monday 5th August at 11:00 , these arrangements have now been confirmed, followed by interment at South Brent Cemetary  (Ajacent to the Village Hall, see HERE for a map).

Family flowers only but donation should, if desired, be made via the Funeral directors (see below), and will be split equally between to South Brent Methodist Chapel, the RNLI and Help for Heroes.

Afterwards at the Pack Horse Inn South Brent (See HERE for the website and HERE for a map).

Old friends, shipmates, colleagues and comrades will be most welcome.

On behalf of the RFA Association I extend our sincere condolences to his widow Patsy, daughter Amanda, son Gary and grandchildren Jack and Callum and all his family.
