I received a letter from the new Civil Service Pension Administrators yesterday, I assume that all ex RFAs (RFA and Stonnery) will have received or be about to receive a similar letter in the near future.
I have tried to contact MyCSP by phone to clarify the position but they are permanently busy and my phone generated “cauliflower ear” us about to drop off. When I get anymore details I will sitrep this page. So for now this is all I know.
The content of the letter is reproduced below. Please note, the RFA Association is NOT qualified to give pensions or financial advice but may be able to point you towards someone who can.
I am writing to tell you that your Civil Service Pension is now administered by MyCSP rather than Capita, on behalf of Cabinet Office.
Your pension payments will not be affected by this change. You will continue to receive your pension in the same way and on the same date. Please be aware that payslips are only issued if your (net) monthly pension amount changes by more than £1.
You can find more information about your pension on the Civil Service Pensions website at
www.civilservicepensionscheme.org.uk
