Alex’s funeral will be held on Monday 9th September @ 1345 at the Oaks Crematorium, Bartons Road, Havant, PO9 5NA.
Former colleagues and friends are welcome. After the funeral members are welcome at Wendy and Alex’s house. (Address is in the members’ handbook)

I am so sorry to announce the death of Captain (E) Alex Wilson on 29th July (No.0064). Alex picked up Asbestosis during his RFA career, and it came back to bite him during the last six months. I have attached a photograph of Alex and Wendy in happier times celebrating their Diamond Wedding Anniversary when they received a congratulatory card from the King and Queen.
Further details will be forwarded when known. We sailed together as Cadets on RFA Tidesurge and remained friends and colleagues ever since. He will be sadly missed.
