It is with so much sadness I report that Second Officer Verrill Elliss RFA(Retd) Crossed the Bar on Saturday 7th July 2018 aged 47 following a heart attack. Verrill was not a member of our Association but still part of the RFA Family. After leaving the RFA he became the Assistant Harbourmaster at the Port of Tyne.
Verril’s funeral will take place on Thursday 19th July 2018 at Cowpen Cemetary Crematorium, Managed by NCC ,Contact Stephen Kelly: 01670 620405

Old shipmates are most welcome to attend and will be invited to join the family afterwards for refreshments.
