RFAA North West Group Luncheon ~ Autumn 2013
Dear Members,
Following a considerable amount of interest and having made enquiries at several hostelries in and around Chester and the Wirral, I have made a provisional booking for Wednesday 18th September 2013 from 11.30 at the Grove House Hotel, Grove Road, Wallasey CH45 3HF, 0151 639 3947 www.thegrovehouse.co.uk.
The hotel is situated about 1 mile from the M53 Junction 1 and approx 6 minutes walk from Merseyrail Wallasey Grove Road station. Have a look HERE for a map.
The luncheon will take the form of an informal get-together with buffet in order that we can chat and identify how we would wish to see the NW Group evolve.
The buffet at £13.95 pp will consist of:-
Selection of Cocktail Sandwiches, Mixed Open Sandwiches, Hot Puff Pastry Savouries, Sausages on Sticks, Chicken, Mushroom and Prawn Vol au Vents, Scotch Eggs with Tomato Wedges, Mixed Quiche, Cocktail Pie with Pickle, Scampi with Tartare Sauce, Roast Chicken Portions, Homemade Pate on French Bread, Cheese & Tomato Pizza, Potato Crisps.
To get our funds off to a start, I would, with your approval suggest a £1 gangway charge. I have also got a £30 M&S voucher for a raffle prize, any more small prizes would be most welcome.
In order that I can confirm the booking with the hotel, I would be grateful if you could let me know by 10th July if you are able to join us and whether you will be accompanied
