MRS PATRICIA (PAT) COOPER, CROSSED THE BAR

Crossed the Bar

It is with much sadness that I report that Mrs Patricia (Pat) Ann Cooper (aka “Moneypenny” to so many in our Association), Crossed the Bar, peacefully in Hexham Hospital on 19th January 2018 aged 77 years. Beloved wife of Captain Rex, greatly missed by family and friends, and friends in the Royal Fleet Auxiliary Association, of which she was co-founder and our first female Trustee.

Her funeral service and burial will be held on Monday 5th February at 11:00 at St. Aidan’s Church, Thorneyburn  (HERE for their website and HERE for a map)

Family flowers only, donations if desired to The Alzheimer’s Society (HERE for their website) and St. Aidan’s Church (see above for details).

Friends please meet at Church and attendees will be invited by Rex to join him afterwards for refreshments.

On behalf of the RFA Association I offer our profound condolences to  Rex, and our appreciation to Pat (Moneypenny) for all their joint efforts in creating our Association.
