It is with much sadness that I pass on a Report from John Shorter that Captain Fredrick (Ricky) Michael Johnson RFA(Retd) crossed the bar on 24th September 2019 aged 81 after a long battle with cancer.
His funeral will take place at the Church of St John the Evangelist, South Place Lee on Solent at 10:00 on 15th October 2019 (HERE for there website and HERE for a map) followed by a private cremation. Colleagues and old shipmates will be made most welcome and invited to join the family afterwards for refreshments.
No flowers please but donations should be made in lieu, and if desired, to St Vincent de Paul, Lee on Solent Branch (Investigating) via the Funeral Directors, see above.
